WALKING

It is possible to do many walks from the cottage without having to drive first. Some are as follows:

Approx 1000ft — Barrow, Sail and Coledale. Whinlatter forest, Seat How and the Lords Seat.

2000-3000ft — Coledale Horseshoe and Skiddaw.

All these and many more can be done on a circular walk.
